Plummer Youth Promise
Sheila Cizauskas, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mediation and provider contracting. Currently serving as a Permanency Mediator at Plummer Youth Promise since November 2021, Cizauskas previously held roles as a Trained Mediator at Mediation Works, Inc. from May 2013 to May 2023, and as a Mediation Court Coordinator at Family Services of Central Massachusetts from November 2015 to November 2020. Additional experience includes leadership roles in healthcare contracting at BCBSMA and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, as well as foundational experience in community governance as a Chairperson and Member of the Westborough Massachusetts School Committee. Cizauskas holds an MBA from Clark University and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and Psychology from Framingham State University, along with several mediation-related certificates.

Young people who leave the foster care or juvenile justice system without safe, stable & permanent family connections face grim outcomes, including high rates of homelessness, unemployment, early parenting and lack of education.
