Michael Guarino

Michael Guarino has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2013, they started their career as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where they extended and maintained the company's trade-in platform. Michael was responsible for creating self-service tools and launching new programs to improve customer experience and increase order rate.

In 2015, Michael joined Twitter as a Software Engineer II, primarily focusing on backend engineering for Vine. Michael worked on various projects, including developing personalized recommendations, building backend systems for playlist creation, and optimizing infrastructure to cut costs.

In 2017, they joined Frame.io as a Senior Software Engineer, where they launched a rewrite of their API and backend systems using Elixir, Docker, and Postgres. Michael also held the role of Staff Software Engineer and contributed to the overall backend development of the platform.
