Principal Engineer, Customer Advocacy at Pluribus Networks

Nagaraj Awatiger began their professional career in 1995 as a Scientist "C" at ADRIN, where they worked on image processing software design and development. In 1997, they moved to ProdEx Technologies, where they worked on RAID controller software development on Novell NetWare platform and network management software for Symbol Devices. In 1998, they joined Informix Software (part of IBM) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on the Platform Engineering team developing, testing, and releasing Informix Database software on various flavors of Unix. In 2000, they joined Cisco as a Senior Manager Engineering Management, where they led the engineering development test team for the Security Portfolio in the Enterprise Networking Group. Nagaraj was responsible for security test on ASR1Ks/ISR4K/ISR1K/ENCS-ISRv/CSR family fixed, modular, and virtual platforms. Nagaraj was also the Senior Manager Software Development and Senior Technical Leader Engineering, leading the test efforts for Nexus 9k products and Nexus 2k/5k/5600/6k product line in SSVPG. In 2019, Nagaraj joined Pluribus Networks as a Principal Test Engineer, System Solutions, working on customer centric solutions validation on Distributed Adaptive Cloud Fabric. In the same year, they were promoted to Principal Engineer, Customer Advocacy. In 2019, Pluribus Networks was acquired by Arista Networks, where Nagaraj currently holds the position of Customer Advocacy: Technical Solutions & Professional Services Engineer. Nagaraj is responsible for VxLAN based Spine Leaf Fabric Architectures including Layer2/Layer3 networking and inter fabric stitching over WAN using BGP-EVPN technologies. Nagaraj also handles advanced customer escalations, through reproduction and validation of Unified Cloud Fabric.

Nagaraj Awatiger has an extensive educational background. In 2001-2002, they completed an MS in E-commerce at National University. Nagaraj then obtained a BE in Electronics and Communication from Karnatak University. In 2011-2014, they pursued a SCPM in Project/Portfolio/Program Management at Stanford University. Finally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University in 2013-2014.
