Zhenkai Wang

Zhenkai (Zack) Wang is a Senior Engineering Manager at Plus, where since May 2018, leadership and management of a team of engineers have focused on developing perception systems for self-driving vehicles. Prior to this role, Zhenkai held positions as Engineering Manager and Member of Technical Staff at Stanford University from February 2017 to April 2018, contributing to research in object detection, tracking, and face recognition algorithms. An internship as a Computer Vision Engineer at Rokid Corporation Ltd in 2017 involved acceleration of computer vision algorithms and development of applications in augmented reality and object recognition. Zhenkai's early research experience includes work at the University of Michigan, where a path planning algorithm for multiple agent vehicles was developed. Zhenkai holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University (2016-2018) and Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2014-2016) and Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2012-2016).
