Marieke Hoffmann

Marieke Hoffmann is an experienced professional in the field of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Currently serving as an ESG officer at PLUS Retail since January 2023, Marieke previously held the position of Adviseur Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Inkopen at Gemeente Utrecht from June 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included developing and implementing sustainable procurement policies. Prior to that, Marieke worked at Coöperatie DELA from June 2016 to May 2019 as a MVO programmaleider, coordinating CSR activities and motivating colleagues. Earlier in the career, Marieke served as an Adviseur duurzaam ondernemen at Royal HaskoningDHV from January 2008 to May 2016, guiding organizations in sustainability strategies. Marieke began the professional journey at Samenleving & Bedrijf as a project medewerker, focusing on organizing sustainability events and workshops. Marieke holds a Master of Science in Technische bedrijfskunde from Eindhoven University of Technology and has also studied at the University of Manitoba and attended Stedelijk Gymnasium Leeuwarden.
