Humberto Arroyo

Humberto Arroyo has a diverse work experience in software engineering, with a focus on Fintech products and API-centric back-end features. Humberto has held senior positions in various companies, including +SUBSCRIBE®, Arcus (a Mastercard company), kikoya, and Pintacomex.

At Arcus, Humberto worked as a Software Engineer from January 2020 to March 2023. In this role, they were involved in architecture, design, and implementation of API-centric back-end features and Fintech products with high transaction volumes. Humberto utilized technologies such as RoR, Python, AWS, databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, and performed unit tests. Humberto also contributed to the development of products for sending and withdrawing money through points of sale and real-time money transfers using the Mexican infrastructure (Banxico).

Prior to Arcus, Humberto worked at kikoya as a Full Stack Engineer from June 2019 to December 2019. Here, they contributed to the development of a digital platform that transformed financial companies into Fintech through software. Humberto worked with technologies such as RoR, JavaScript (React), and Python. Humberto collaborated with other engineers to design innovative solutions and integrated AWS services like S3, API Gateway, RDS, and Lambdas.

Before kikoya, Humberto worked at Pintacomex as a Software Engineer from April 2017 to June 2019. Humberto'sresponsibilities included developing a new point of sale system, implementing dashboards for multiple clients, and maintaining modules of an ERP system. Humberto used technologies such as RoR, Python, Visual Basic, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Humberto's most recent experience is as a Senior Software Engineer at +SUBSCRIBE®, starting in April 2023.

Humberto Arroyo completed a Licenciatura degree in Ingienería en Tecnologías Interactivas y Animación Digital at Universidad del Valle de México from 2012 to 2016. In April 2016, they also obtained a certification in Curso de Introducción al Desarrollo Web from Google.
