David van der Voort

David Van der Voort has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Since 2019, they have been working at Pluto TV as the Manager, Connected TV, International Engineering. In this role, they oversee two international teams and ensures effective communication and collaboration. David is responsible for managing various host platforms, including Playstation, Tivo, and Smart TVs.

Prior to their current position, David worked at Globant as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017 to 2019. David also has experience with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from 2010 to 2016 and 2012 to 2012, respectively.

Furthermore, David has worked at Crackle Inc., a Sony Pictures Company, as a Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2010. David also had a brief stint as a Technical Account Manager at Sony Pictures Entertainment from 2006 to 2007, where they represented the technical aspect of Grouper to partners and potential partners.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Convergys as a Senior Support Engineer from 2002 to 2004 and at Macromedia as a Senior Support Engineer from 1999 to 2002.

David Van der Voort attended North Allegheny from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they attended the University of Pittsburgh and studied Journalism.
