Volodymyr Honchar

Volodymyr Honchar has a diverse work experience in software engineering, with a focus on development using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Volodymyr worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Pluto TV starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at EPAM Systems from September 2019 to April 2023. In this role, Volodymyr led a team of eight engineers in the development of core services for a Content Management System, while also communicating with stakeholders to identify needs and design new features. Volodymyr also implemented authorization and authentication using Okta and SAML 2.0 and designed a Chef cookbook for infrastructure automation in AWS.

Before joining EPAM Systems, Volodymyr worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Brightgrove Ltd. from February 2018 to October 2018. Volodymyr contributed to the development of a web application based on AEM with social network-like elements and introduced Webpack for building JavaScript and CSS code.

Volodymyr's earliest work experience was as a Software Engineer at EPAM Systems from May 2014 to February 2018. In this role, they developed various web applications using AEM as a full stack developer. Volodymyr achieved several accomplishments, including integrating AEM tags with a metadata management system, developing a module for adaptive rendering of images, and implementing offline search in a mobile app. Volodymyr also worked on projects involving color pallet implementation, translation workflow with context-aware post-review, and testing-automation using Selenium.

Overall, Volodymyr Honchar has gained extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in AEM development, and has held leadership positions in their recent roles.

Volodymyr Honchar completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2017 at Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics. In addition, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
