Angie Schmidt

Angie Schmidt has extensive experience in education and training, currently serving as a Teacher at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools since April 2018. Angie also holds the position of Sr. Training Specialist at Yazaki North & Central America, where responsibilities include creating and implementing strategic plans for hiring and training new engineers. Previously, Angie worked as an Elementary Physical Education Teacher at Farmington Public Schools, managing curriculum for over 200 students, and as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher at South Lyon Community Schools, where initiatives included developing a new fitness component in the curriculum. Angie began the professional journey with a role as a Temporary Administrative Assistant at Hagerty Classic Insurance, showcasing strong communication and leadership skills. Angie holds a Master's Degree in Education from Marygrove College and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University.
