Police Detective at Plymouth Police Department

Paul Caraher has extensive experience in law enforcement and security, serving as the Chief Security Officer at the Boston Federal Court House for Walden Security since August 2021. Prior to this, Paul held various roles at the Plymouth Police Department, including Police Detective and Police Officer, since 1996. Paul's career began in corrections with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, progressing from Correctional Officer to Lieutenant, and also participating in the Sheriff's Tactical Response Team. Paul served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard from February 1986 to February 1992 as part of the 772 Military Police Company, with active duty during Operation Desert Storm/Shield. Prior experience includes a Security Officer position at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant. Paul holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western New England University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Curry College.
