As CMO, Tarby leads all aspects of marketing for Plymouth Rock’s Independent Agency Group across the six states in which Plymouth Rock operates. He is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies to advance Plymouth Rock’s position as a leading, personal lines carrier for Independent Agents and their customers across the Northeast.
Tarby joined Plymouth Rock from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he held multiple senior leadership positions over 14 years, most recently leading distribution strategy and analytics for Safeco and the Independent Agent channel. Tarby applies significant agency channel and distribution management experience to his new role, having led groups responsible for evaluating growth investments and improving operational performance across multiple channels. He also previously held roles in product management, innovation, and strategic partnerships for Safeco and Liberty Mutual.
Prior to Liberty Mutual, Tarby spent five years at Credit Suisse where he focused on corporate finance transactions for clients in the insurance sector. He holds degrees from Williams College and Duke University.
