Joey Zhou

Joey Zhou has extensive work experience in various roles related to cloud operations, software engineering, and system administration. They began their career at Rational Software in 2001 as a Software Engineer, specializing in tool development and support. In 2005, they joined IBM as a Software Engineer, focusing on system verification testing, infrastructure design, and maintenance. Their responsibilities expanded over time, and they took on roles as an IT Operations/System Administrator and a Cloud Operations Engineer. At Plymouth Rock Assurance, they currently serve as a Senior AWS Cloud SRE and Tech Lead.

Joey Zhou attended Northeastern University from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Information System in the field of Computer Engineering. Joey also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Additionally, they obtained certifications in 'Container & Kubernetes Essentials with IBM Cloud' and 'Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner' from IBM.
