PM Society
Mehrnaz Campbell is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Cheemia since April 2017, where the focus is on facilitating NHS procurement. In addition, Mehrnaz founded Cheemia ReSET in April 2020, an online training platform that equips pharmaceutical sales representatives with skills for effective omnichannel engagement with healthcare professionals. Mehrnaz holds the position of Author at The Omni Advantage and serves as Co-Chair of the PM Society Learning & Development Interest Group, contributing to the improvement of healthcare communications. Prior to these ventures, Mehrnaz held significant roles at Takeda and Pfizer, focusing on strategy, account management, and sales. Mehrnaz's educational background includes an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and participation in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Growth Programme at the University of Oxford.
PM Society
The PM Society was established over 40 years ago as a not-for-profit organisation to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and its service agencies. It currently has over 230 UK companies as members, including pharma and biotech companies on the industry side and PR, Advertising, Medical Communications, Digital and many other kinds of service company on the agency side. It is run by a voluntary Executive Committee, and supported by a small office staff. The Executive steers the direction of the Society in conjunction with the wider Committee of industry professionals, and works hard to forge close working relationships with other industry and NHS groups, including the ABPI, HCA and TOPRA, for the benefit of its membership. The Society has Interest Groups aligned to the current challenges and issues facing today’s marketers - Market Access, Digital, Patient Engagement, Industry Agency Relations, Sustainability, and Diversity - these are run by experts in the field, and run alongside the two highly regarded Award schemes – the PM Society Awards and the Digital Awards. The PM Society’s flexible modular training programme is developed by the industry for the industry and addresses the specific training needs for pharmaceutical marketing and associated life sciences disciplines. Courses run throughout the year and are tailored for those new to marketing, anyone needing a refresher and advanced modules for the more experienced marketer.
