Teresa Gutsick has extensive work experience in the field of graphic design and creative direction. Teresa started their career in 1993 as a Graphic Designer at Connection Newspaper Group, where they collaborated with advertising representatives and clients to create ads and developed promotional materials. In 1994, they joined Daily Record, Morristown, NJ, as a Graphic Designer, responsible for producing creative front covers for special sections and creating various promotional materials.
In 1996, Teresa became the Creative Director at Interel, where they managed a profit-oriented graphic design studio. Teresa grew and diversified the business, expanding its services from publications to a full-service design shop, serving both internal and external clients. Teresa provided creative direction, managed a team of designers, determined pricing structure, and cultivated new client work. Teresa also served as a project manager for design contracts, worked on website content strategy and layout, and collaborated with programming partners. Teresa also played a key role in branding projects and developed front-end programming for websites and email newsletters.
In 2018, Teresa joined PMMI: The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies as the Creative Director. Teresa'sresponsibilities in this role include providing creative direction and overseeing art direction.
Teresa Gutsick completed their education at Virginia Tech from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Art and Graphic Design. Prior to that, they attended Chantilly High School, although specific dates and degrees obtained were not provided. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the Keynote 7 Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in January 2020.
