Laura Barnard is the Founder and Chief IMPACT Driver of PMO Strategies, a management consulting organization focused on enabling executives to achieve their vision effectively. With extensive experience in project management, Laura hosts the PMO Strategies Podcast, which shares insights and techniques for transforming PMOs into impactful entities. As the Founder of the IMPACT Summit, Laura facilitates the largest event dedicated to PMO leaders. Additionally, Laura serves as an Expert Judge for the PMO Global Awards and co-founded Project Management for Change, emphasizing the global impact of project management. Laura's past roles include advisory leadership at Fortezza Consulting, board membership at both Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake and the Project Management Institute's Washington DC chapter, as well as a vice presidency at Freddie Mac, focusing on enterprise transformation. Laura holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and maintains various professional certifications, including PMP, CAL, and Prosci.
