Lizhong Xu

Lizhong Xu has a diverse background in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical research. Lizhong began their career as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Hematology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College in 1994. Lizhong then worked as a Research Associate at Hunter College of the City University of New York in 2003. Lizhong continued their research at SUNY Stony Brook as a Postdoctoral Associate from 2004-2006. Lizhong Xu then joined NYU Langone Medical Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2006-2011. Lizhong furthered their career at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where they served as an Associate Principal Scientist in Discovery Oncology from 2011-2013. Currently, Lizhong Xu is a Principal Scientist at PMV Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a position they have held since November 2013.

Lizhong Xu holds a PhD in Biochemistry from The City University of New York. Lizhong also has a Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, both obtained from Nankai University.
