Richard Heid

Richard Heid is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of CMC at PMV Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Associate Scientific Director at Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2020 to May 2023 and progressed through various roles at Celgene from March 2011 to January 2020, including Associate Director, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Richard began his career at Wyeth as a Senior Research Scientist II from June 2006 to April 2010 and previously worked as a Senior Research Chemist at Merck from September 2004 to December 2005. Richard's expertise includes route development and API synthesis to support pre-clinical and clinical trials. Richard holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Columbia University (1999-2004) and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
