Richard Heyman

Richard Heyman is a seasoned biotechnology executive and venture partner with extensive experience in drug discovery and development. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder at Architect Therapeutics since August 2023, Heyman also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at ORIC Pharmaceuticals since November 2014. Additional roles include Chairman of the Board at PMV Pharmaceuticals, BOD Member and Chairman at Enliven Therapeutics, and a member of various boards including Vividion Therapeutics, ARCH Venture Partners, Nextech Invest, Curebound, and Life Science Cares San Diego. Heyman has been a member of the Board of Trustees at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies since August 2015. Richard Heyman earned a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1986.
