Geert Mertens

Geert Mertens is an experienced professional in infrastructure project management, currently serving as SPV Manager at PMV since November 2012, where involvement includes collaboration with public and private partners to enhance transportation and community infrastructure in Flanders. Additionally, Geert holds multiple SPV Manager positions across various companies, including AWT Gent nv, ISP1-RG nv, LIVAN Infrastructure NV, and Sport in Vlaanderen nv, spearheading significant projects such as the All Weather Terminal in Gent and new sports halls across several municipalities. Geert's background includes roles on the boards of Bedrijvencentrum Vilvoorde and Zakencentrum Vilvoorde nv, as well as previous experience in technical and transport management at C&A Belux. With roots in West Flanders and a strong entrepreneurial upbringing, Geert Mertens brings a dynamic approach to infrastructure development and investment.
