Tyler Dobbins

Tyler Dobbins is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Commercial Underwriter III at PNC since November 2025, Tyler previously held the position of Portfolio Manager Team Lead - VP at SouthState Bank, where involvement included the acquisition of Independent Bank Group in early 2025. Prior to that, Tyler worked at Independent Financial in various roles, including Senior Credit Underwriter AVP - Team Lead and Credit Analyst II, from February 2021 to May 2025. Tyler's career began at First United Bank, progressing from a Credit Risk Intern to Credit Analyst I over nearly three years. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas and an Associate’s Degree from Collin College.
