Dean Black

Dean Black is an accomplished architect and consultant with extensive experience in cloud-integrated data solutions and information security. Currently at PNDLM since August 2019, Dean designs serverless data solutions utilizing technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, and AWS services. Previously, Dean served as Director of Information Security and Architecture at PeaceHealth, overseeing security engineering and cyber defense for a large healthcare system. Prior roles include Principal Data Architect at PNDLM, Director of IT and Operations at TRUSTID, and Information Services Director at Micropump. Dean's career is marked by a strong focus on innovative solutions, team leadership, and a commitment to enhancing IT project understanding and architectural processes. Dean holds a BA in Comparative Literature from San Diego State University.
