BV Sarma

BV Sarma has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. BV currently holds the position of Vice President/Senior Director of Engineering at Pneumatic Conveying Inc. | PNEU-CON since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Powder Process-Solutions as a System Sales Engineer from November 2007 to December 2019. Before that, BV Sarma worked at Nu-Con Limited in Auckland, New Zealand, where they started as an International Sales Engineer and later became the Regional Sales Manager for Asia and Pacific markets. During their time at Nu-Con Limited, they played a key role in developing and executing successful sales strategies for bulk material handling, pneumatic conveying, and weigh batching systems, contributing to over 50% of the company's revenue. BV Sarma also has experience as the Chief Executive of Exotherm Consultants, where they led the growth and success of the engineering firm specializing in spray/swirl flash dryers for specialty powders. BV was responsible for building the company from start-up to two offices, three sales territories, ten employees, and a professional sales network covering four states. Additionally, BV Sarma led the national field sales and marketing strategy for a new product line.

BV Sarma has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering-Plant Design and Fabrication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Additionally, BV Sarma has obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) from the institution of Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MS Office, VB, SQL).
