Gerben Deenen-Groot

Gerben Deenen-Groot is an education expert with extensive experience in supporting gifted education and teacher training. Currently serving as an Onderwijsexpert at PO-Raad since February 2021, Gerben previously worked as an onderwijsadviseur at BVS-schooladvies since January 2014, focusing on coaching and team training in areas such as mathematics, giftedness, classroom management, and language audits. Gerben was a Klassenleraar and coordinator for gifted education at Vrijeschool Widar from August 2006 to July 2016 and contributed to the HB 015 platform for giftedness from December 2011 to December 2015, connecting parents and professionals in the Delft region. With a Specialist in Gifted Education degree from ECHA (2010-2012), Gerben also holds educational qualifications from Hogeschool Helicon (2002-2006) and Menso Alting College (2000-2002).
