Robert McGhee serves as the Chief Government and Public Affairs Officer for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians since January 2006, providing expert guidance on tribal, state, and federal affairs and public policy. Elected Vice Chairman of the Board since 2002, Robert has held various roles within the tribe, including Treasurer and At Large Member. Previous experience includes serving as Tribal Administrator for Creek Indian Enterprises, President/CEO for the United States Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and Program Manager for the U.S. Department of the Interior. Robert holds an Executive Master's in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, a Master's in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, a Bachelor's in Social Work from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of South Alabama.
