Marcelo Melo Linck has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Starting from 2011, they worked as an Application Support Analyst at Dell. In 2013, they interned as an IoT Software Engineer at Montana State University, where they led a team and developed software solutions for gunshot detection. Marcelo then worked as a Software and Hardware Engineer at Datacom, where they developed embedded solutions and characterized optical-network switches.

Moving on, from 2015 to 2017, Marcelo worked as a Researcher at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, focusing on performance improvements in Multiprocessor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) and memory architectures.

Currently, Marcelo works at WillowTree as the Director, Engineering Lead I, responsible for spearheading cross-company initiatives and managing multiple projects involving multi-disciplinary teams. Marcelo is also the Head of Solution Architecture engagements in LATAM, leading technical interactions with prospective clients from the US and Europe. Additionally, Marcelo manages engineering allocation and budget constraints for various projects.

Marcelo Melo Linck holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they participated in an Exchange Program in Computer Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman from 2012 to 2013. Marcelo also holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, which they completed from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various areas, including web development, programming languages, project management, and cloud computing.
