Samagata Banerjee

Samagata Banerjee has a diverse work experience with roles in various industries. Samagata currently holds the position of Director of Photography at Pocket Aces since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Cinematographer-Editor as a freelancer from 2017 to 2023, where they directed, shot, and edited narrative fiction short films, ads, music videos, and a non-fiction film. Samagata also served as an Assistant to a renowned DP in ads and a Hindi feature film during this time.

Before their freelance career, Samagata worked as a Senior Analytics Consultant at Brillio from 2016 to 2017, and as an Analyst at Dell during the same period. Samagata also gained experience as a Decision Scientist and Senior Business Analyst at Mu Sigma from 2013 to 2016.

In 2013, Samagata worked as a Student Intern at the Indian Institute of Science, where they led a project group and developed an innovative biogas balloon holder. Samagata also conducted a pilot study on a micro-scale plug flow biogas reactor.

Samagata'swork experience began as a Summer Trainee at WBCIL in 2011, where they handled different industrial equipment and prepared and tested raw materials for pharmaceutical industries.
