Valeria Benitez Florez

Valeria Benitez Florez has a diverse work experience spanning various design roles. Valeria started their career as a Branding Design intern at Detquim Bios LTDA in January 2016 and worked until July 2016. Valeria then joined RNR Design as an Industrial Designer from August 2016 to March 2017. In October 2016 to February 2017, Valeria worked as a UI Designer for Timeset app.

In 2017, Valeria joined EcoBike Limited as a UI-UX Designer from April 2017 to June 2017. Valeria then moved on to work as a Brand Designer at RChain Cooperative from November 2017 to February 2018.

Their most recent role was as the Design & Experience Lead at Pocket Network Inc. starting from November 2018. As the Design & Experience Lead, Valeria was responsible for brand development and user experience across various web platforms and applications. Valeria also oversaw the creation and usage of brand assets across media channels to maintain a consistent and high-quality brand presence. Valeria later became the Design Lead in April 2022 and continues to contribute to the design efforts of Pocket Network Inc.

Valeria Benitez Florez holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Additionally, they have completed a seminar on Digital Marketing at CESA and a Digital Course at the University of Minnesota. Valeria also pursued a Visual merchandising course on communication and marketing strategy at the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA). Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Creativity Bootcamp from LinkedIn in January 2019 and Creative Problem Solving from Coursera in November 2017.
