Brian C. Janes

Brian C. Janes has extensive work experience in various roles within the media and technology industries. Brian C. began their career in 1997 as a Manager of Ad Operations at Classified Ventures, where they developed and maintained technical specifications for ad serving integration. Brian C. then joined TravelCLICK, Inc. in 2000 as the Director of Product Development, leading product initiatives and project management for data and revenue products.

In 2006, Janes became the Director of Electronic Distribution & IT Infrastructure at Festival Airlines, Inc., overseeing the implementation and operations of customer ticket purchasing methods. Brian C. later joined Buzzine Networks in 2011 as the Director of Production, where they directed the production team and defined production workflows for video shoots.

Janes further expanded their expertise in the media industry by working at Endemol Beyond USA in 2014, where they served as a Senior Digital Producer and later as the Director of Content Distribution. In these roles, they played a key role in launching video platforms and syndication networks across various digital platforms.

From 2017 to the present, Janes has been actively involved with pocket.watch, initially serving as the Director of Product & Operations and later promoted to Senior Director and VP positions. In their current role as VP of Media Supply Chain, they are responsible for building and optimizing the OTT network distribution infrastructure and implementing technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Prior to their work in the media and technology industries, Janes also had experience as the owner of BCJ Media, where they facilitated storytelling through different mediums for individuals and corporations.

Brian C. Janes holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Music Composition from Wheaton College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in June 2016, and YouTube Certified: Asset Monetization and YouTube Certified: Content Ownership from YouTube in December 2020.
