Livy Jacobs is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the External Communications Lead at PocketHealth since May 2022, where responsibilities include developing and executing the external communications strategy to enhance brand visibility and market expansion. As Principal at Liv PR since November 2011, Livy has worked with a diverse range of clients including PocketHealth and Ricola Canada. Previous experience includes serving as a freelance Associate at Felicity PR, leading media and client relations for various accounts, and holding roles such as Account Supervisor at High Road Communications and Canadian Media Communications/Public Affairs at Scotiabank, where Livy developed PR strategies for significant sponsorships and marketing efforts. Livy holds a B.A. in Anthropology from York University and a Public Relations certificate from Ryerson University, and received the IABC Ovation Award of Merit in 2014 for communications planning and strategy.
