Co-Founder & CEO at Pockit

Virraj J. has worked for two companies, Pockit and Barclays Wealth. In 2013, Virraj J. co-founded and became the CEO of Pockit, a digital banking alternative for unbanked, underserved and low income consumers in the UK. Virraj provided customers with a bank account from which they could make payments, manage their money and use a card that runs off MasterCard to transact online and offline. In 2008, Virraj J. interned at Barclays Wealth in the Ultra High Net Worth team, focussing on its NRI (Non-Resident Indian) client base. Virraj's main responsibilities were preparing client presentations, working with the senior team members on applications to the credit committee and doing research that would be of use to the team.

Virraj J. attended University College School from 2001 to 2006 and obtained a 2:1 degree in Business Management from UCL in 2009.
