Kat Kourbeti

Kat Kourbeti is an experienced podcast editor, columnist, and event organizer with a strong focus on speculative fiction and film. Currently serving as the Podcast Editor for Strange Horizons and a Columnist for the British Science Fiction Association, Kourbeti actively engages the community through a weekly fiction podcast and covers speculative theatre in the UK. As an organizer for Spectrum Writers London, Kourbeti supports a significant community of science fiction and fantasy writers. Additionally, Kourbeti works as a Freelance Podcast Producer and Host with Pod People, alongside a role as a Box Office Sales Assistant at the National Theatre. Past positions include Stage Door Keeper and Ticket Sales Advisor at the Barbican Centre, Film Programmer at Deptford Cinema, and Staff Writer for Flickering Myth. Kourbeti holds a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing from Brunel University London and possesses a rich educational background in literature and the arts.
