Jeff Chapman

Jeff Chapman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jeff started their career as a Laboratory Operations Manager at Grifols Biomat USA, where they created new systems for validating plasma for shipment and was promoted to a lead position. Jeff then transitioned to Equity Real Estate as a Real Estate Agent before joining RLC Homes as a Marketing Director and Acquisition Specialist, where they played a key role in driving net profits through marketing, sales, and property acquisition.

In 2015, Jeff joined DevMountain as the Head of Employer Relations and Head of Post-Grad Success, where they established an effective job placement system and managed relationships with top tech companies. Jeff also had a brief role as a Web Developer and Student at DevMountain, focusing on JavaScript and Angular development.

In 2017, Jeff worked at ObservePoint as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master, responsible for running daily standup meetings and sprint planning sessions. Jeff also gained experience in full-stack JavaScript development using React, Redux, Node, and SQL.

Most recently, Jeff has been with Podium since 2018, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to roles such as Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and currently, Director of Engineering. Jeff has led multiple teams and launched various products, including Payments, Voice, and CRM. Jeff has also managed large groups of engineers and played a critical role in the development of mobile apps and infrastructure at Podium.

Jeff Chapman's education history includes attending Devmountain and completing a program in Web Development in 2015. Prior to that, they studied at Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management - Entrepreneurship. In 2005 and 2006, they also attended Brigham Young University - Idaho for General Studies. In addition to their academic achievements, Jeff obtained a certification as a Real Estate Sales Agent from the Utah Division of Real Estate in November 2011.
