Arnie Stillman has worked in the technology industry since 1985. Arnie began their career as a Project Engineer/Research Engineer at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. In 2006, they moved to Tactronics as a Systems Engineer, where they designed Linux/Arm based network attached storage and computer systems for military vehicle use. In 2011, they joined Clever Devices as a Senior Researcher. In 2014, they founded POEM Technology, LLC, a company that develops Point of Entry Monitors for the Internet of Things.
Arnie Stillman obtained their BA in Physics from the University of Rochester between 1970 and 1983. Arnie then attended New York University between 1983 and 1985, studying Physics. Arnie also has several certifications, including ELEC301x: Discrete Time Signals and Systems from edX (May 2014), Nanotechnology and Nanosensors from Coursera Verified Certificates (May 2014), Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems from Coursera Verified Certificates (March 2014), How to Build a Startup from Udacity (November 2013), Fundamentals of Nanoelectronics:Part 2 Quantum Models from nanoHUB.org (May 2012), Fundamentals of Nanoelectronics:Part 1 Basic Concepts from nanoHUB.org (March 2012), Artificial Intelligence for Robotics from Udacity, and Intro to the Design of Everyday Things from Udacity.
