Bret Dawson Jr

Bret Dawson Jr is an experienced professional with a strong background in quality management and analytical instrumentation. Currently serving as an Analytical Instrumentation Specialist at POET since October 2022, Bret previously held the title of Quality Manager at POET Biorefining Portland from January 2010 to October 2022, overseeing various quality programs including food safety and ethanol quality assurance. Earlier experience as a Lab Technician from September 2007 to December 2009 involved performing quality control and quality assurance checks and maintaining lab instruments. Bret holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Ball State University, earned between 2001 and 2006.
