Ryan Wood

Ryan Wood, P.E. is a Senior Process Engineer at POET with experience spanning from June 2015 to the present, including previous roles as Process Engineer III and various Plant Engineer titles. Prior to POET, Ryan worked as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where significant research involved biodiesel production and the optimization of lipase activity. An internship at Sanford Health focused on identifying mitochondrial interacting proteins, with a resulting publication on the role of thioredoxin-2 in oxidative stress. Additionally, involvement in NASA's SEED Microgravity project provided exposure to systems engineering. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
