Amanda Torres is the Director of The Incubator for Community Engaged Poets at the Poetry Foundation. Prior to this role, Torres has worked in curriculum development at HarperCollins Publishers and as the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Massachusetts Literary Education and Performance Organization (MassLEAP). Torres also served as the Arts Program Coordinator at IBA - Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción. Additionally, Torres has experience as the Program Director at Mass Poetry. Torres holds a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard University and an Associate's degree from City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College.
