Essi Rovamo

Essi Rovamo currently serves as a Projektikoordinaattori at Pohjois-Savon hyvinvointialue, focusing on the Ikääntyneiden asiakasohjauksen TuTa-hanke since January 2024. Prior experience includes a position as Sihteeri at Itä-Suomen sosiaalialan osaamiskeskus from January 2023 to April 2024 and as a Social Worker at HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala, where developmental work on administration of HUS Psychiatry was undertaken from August 2018 to January 2024. Additionally, Essi worked as a Doctoral Researcher and previously as a Teacher at the University of Eastern Finland. Earlier roles also include a Personal Assistant at City of Kuopio from 2016 to 2018 and an Apprentice of social work at Niuvanniemen sairaala in 2017. Essi is currently a postgraduate student in the Welfare Health and Management Doctoral programme at the University of Eastern Finland, building on a Master of Social Sciences degree in Social Work from the same university.
