Pohjolan Voima
Jarmo Tervo is currently working as the Manager of Technology and Projects at Pohjolan Voima. Prior to this role, Jarmo served as Vice President overseeing thermal power plant project development. With a background in engineering management and project supervision, Jarmo has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy. Jarmo has also held positions at various companies such as ÅF-consult, Thai Shinryo, Empower, and Powertec Española, where Jarmo gained significant experience in production development, project engineering, and commissioning management. Additionally, Jarmo is actively involved in various working groups and collaborations within the industry.

Pohjolan Voima tuottaa lämpöä ja sähköä osakkailleen vesivoimalla, lämpövoimalla ja ydinvoimalla. Pohjolan Voiman tuotantokapasiteetti koostuu 26 voimalaitoksesta, jotka sijaitsevat eri puolilla Suomea. Yrityksen sähkön tuotanto kattaa noin 20 prosenttia Suomessa kulutetusta sähköstä. Pohjolan Voimalla on 22 osakasta. Osakkaita ovat suomalaiset vientiteollisuusyritykset, energiayhtiöt sekä kaupungit. Pohjolan Voiman liiketoimintamalli perustuu omakustannusperiaatteeseen. Pohjolan Voima produces electricity and heat to its shareholders with hydropower, thermal power and nuclear power. Pohjolan Voima has 26 power plants across Finland. The share of Pohjolan Voima's electricity generation of the total electricity production in Finland is approximately 20 per cent. Pohjolan Voima has 22 shareholders. Our shareholders are Finnish export industry companies, energy companies and cities. Pohjolan Voima's business model is based on at-cost principle.
