Curtis B. Dennie

Curtis B. Dennie has extensive work experience in the logistics and port operations field. Curtis B. currently holds the position of Vice President- Port Operations at Pt. Lisas Industial Port Development Corporation (PLIPDECO) since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Logistics Specialist at Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) from September 2019 to March 2021. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Port Operations Manager at Antigua & Barbuda Port Authority, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of terminal logistics and operations. Before that, they worked as the Research & Information Development Manager at Invest SVG (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) from August 2011 to December 2013, where they conducted research and analysis for strategy development. Curtis B.'searliest experience was as the Managing Director- Port Agency at Transocean Shipping Agency from January 1997 to January 2009, where they managed logistics for vessel operations, coordinated international shipping and logistics, and directed various port operations.

Curtis B. Dennie has a diverse education history. Curtis B. first attended the University of Liverpool from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree. Following this, in 2013, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Global Value Chain Analysis (Case Study Writing) from Duke University. In the same year, they also completed a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Trade Information Management from the ITC SME Trade Academy.

In 2014, Curtis received a Certificate of Achievement in Managing and Facilitating Online Instruction from The University of the West Indies. Curtis B. later obtained a Certificate of Completion in Major Aspects of Environmental Coastal Management from Caribbean Maritime University and Fondo Chile in 2017. Additionally, in 2017, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Maritime Port Management through the OECS - Singapore Cooperation Programme.

Curtis continued to enhance their knowledge and skills with various certifications in 2011 and 2012. Curtis B. obtained a Certificate of Completion in Trade Finance Infrastructure Development from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and a Certificate of Completion in Export Development & Diversification from the World Bank Institute. Furthermore, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Understanding International Contracts and Loan Agreements from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in 2012.

In 2013, Curtis earned a Certificate in The Internationalization of SMEs - Marketing & eBusiness from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Finally, in 2020, they became a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) from The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT, UK).
