Michael Kurdziel has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, and software development. Michael began their career in 2001 as the founder and lead developer for OnlineEntries.com, a web-based system to handle online meet registration of track, cross-country, and swimming meets. Michael then joined JDS Uniphase as a Senior Software Engineer in 2011. In 2010, they co-founded Symphony Networks, Inc. and served as VP Engineering, developing 802.15.4-based networking technology for low-power, low-cost, distributed wireless networks. In 2012, they became the Principal Front-End Engineer for Adept Cloud, Inc., which was later acquired by Hightail, Inc. In 2013, they joined Hightail - formerly YouSendIt - as a Staff Engineer, where they were the API Architect for Hightail's next-generation, collaboration-based, file sharing service named Hightail Spaces. Michael also worked as a Computer Engineer for Agilent Technologies from 2008-2011, and as a Software Engineer / Researcher for the Cornell DARPA Urban Challenge Team in 2007. From 2013-2014, they were the Principal Engineering Partner for Noatta, a contact-less vein pattern imaging technology to create a wallet-free identification and payment platform. Since 2016, they have been the Cloud Team Lead for Point One Navigation.
Michael Kurdziel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2006. Michael then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Engineering from the same institution between 2006 and 2008.
