Anantha Raghuraman

Anantha Raghuraman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Anantha started their career as an Intern at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research in 2008. In 2009, they completed an Internship at the Indian Institute of Science. Anantha then worked as a Science and Engineering Research Intern at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. Next, they joined the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bengaluru, India, as a Research Intern, where they focused on developing electrophysiology methods to study neural responses in insects.

In 2011, Anantha worked as a Contractor at Analog Devices before joining Washington University in Saint Louis as a Senior Research Technician. Their responsibilities included training monkeys in vision-guided learning tasks, recording and analyzing neuronal signals, and identifying possible learning algorithms in the brain.

Anantha then worked as an intern at KLA-Tencor, where they built a Bayesian classifier to automatically identify chemical substances in air samples. This classifier outperformed the existing heuristic classifier by achieving 85% accuracy and faster processing times.

Anantha pursued their graduate studies at Purdue University, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Student between 2013 and 2015.

After completing their studies, they joined Enova International as a Data Analyst, gradually progressing to the roles of Senior Data Analyst II, Senior Data Analyst III, and Analytics Lead Scientist. In these positions, they were responsible for developing analytics-driven products and optimizing underwriting costs. Anantha also built credit and portfolio risk models, resulting in a 200% increase in revenue.

Currently, Anantha is working as an Analytics and Growth Lead at Point. In this role, they are responsible for importing and analyzing homeowner data and presenting insights to the management regarding audience characteristics and segmentation.

Anantha Raghuraman attained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics, earning a B.E(Hons) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, between 2006 and 2011. Anantha Raghuraman's educational journey began at Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, where they completed their XII Grade in Biotechnology from 1992 to 2006.
