Tony Faria

Tony Faria has extensive experience in the field of information security. Tony is currently working at Point32Health as the Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to this, they worked at Consortium Networks as the CISO and Security Strategist. Tony's most significant role was at FM Global, where they served as the Global Chief Information Security Officer. During their time at FM Global, they played a key role in creating and leading the organization's enterprise security program, transforming it into a world-class practice with over 30 dedicated security practitioners. Tony's earlier experience includes positions at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Citizens, and FleetBoston (Bank of America), where they held various information security management roles. Overall, Tony Faria has a wealth of experience in building and managing information security programs and has contributed significantly to the development of the field.

Tony Faria completed their Executive Education in High Impact Leadership at Columbia Business School in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in IT - Security from Western Governors University between 2005 and 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Tony obtained Developing a Competitive Strategy from LinkedIn in March 2021, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in June 2015, and has certifications pending for (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Six Sigma Academy.
