Laura Sterner

Laura Sterner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in capital development, investor relations, and business development within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of Capital Development and Investor Relations at Point72 since August 2015, Laura also held the position of Head of Business Development at Stamford Harbor Capital. Previous roles include Associate Director of Strategy and XO at Norwalk Community College Foundation, and Management Consulting Associate Director at Navigant. Laura co-founded Cup and Compass and served as COO, contributing to social innovation in entrepreneurship. Additional experience includes leadership roles at UBS, Simple Alternatives, and Lehman Brothers, where Laura specialized in hedge fund research, selection, and financial services. Laura holds a BBA in Business Honors and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
