Shannon Smith

Shannon Smith has over 30 years of experience in the corporate world. Shannon began their career in 1990 as a Partner at Bowles Hollowell Connor. In 1998, they moved to Blue Point Capital Partners as a Managing Partner. In 2009, they became the Chief Executive Officer of The Abundant Power Group. Most recently, they founded and is currently the CEO of PointGuard, an Abundant Power Company, headquartered in Charlotte, NC. PointGuard offers a cloud based software platform that helps building teams drive value through significant increases in building comfort and lower operating and capital costs.

Shannon Smith attended Wheaton College from 1980 to 1984, graduating with a BA in Philosophy/Economics. Shannon then attended University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 1984 to 1985. In 1988, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
