Previous positions at Points of Light include Senior Director of Executive Communication and External Affairs, where Kate managed executive positioning strategies and served as a lead writer for high-profile speaking engagements. As the Founder of Simply Savory by Kate, Kate developed easy-to-follow health and wellness resources aimed at simplifying the lives of women. Kate's prior experience includes key marketing and communications roles at Smithsonian Enterprises, American Brain Tumor Association, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and Genesis Networks. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Boston University.
