Jennifer Kanine

Director, Natural Resources at Pokagon Band of Potawatomi

Jennifer Kanine is the current Director of Natural Resources at Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Jennifer has over 10 years of experience working with animals in a variety of settings. Jennifer has a degree in Biology from the University of Georgia and has worked as a Graduate Assistant/Supervisory Field Technician, Supervisory Biological Lab Technician (Animal)/Veterinary Medical Unit Supervisor, and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Member.

Jennifer Kanine received their doctorate from The University of Georgia in Forestry and Natural Resources/Wildlife Biology/Ecology. Jennifer also holds a Master of Science from Central Michigan University in Wildlife Biology (Conservation Concentration), as well as a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University in Biology, Natural Resources and Outdoor Environmental Education. Jennifer is certified by The Wildlife Society as an Associate Wildlife Biologist.

Jennifer Kanine reports to Steven Rider, Government Manager. Mindy Morseau - Administrative Assistant, David Ferris - Invasive Species Specialist, and Kyle Boone - Environmental Specialist report to Jennifer Kanine.
