Shafeeq Hameed

Shafeeq Hameed has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Director of IT for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi since January 2018, after having held the position of IT Manager. Prior to this role, Shafeeq worked as the IT Director at Van Buren County from March 2001 to January 2018, focusing on revamping the County's IT infrastructure and improving communication and data flow among government branches. Previous positions include Technical Specialist at Van Buren Community Mental Health Authority, where responsibilities included maintaining IT infrastructure and developing electronic record-keeping, and IT Technician at Butler Computer Services. Shafeeq has educational credentials from Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
