Melissa Digioia

Melissa DiGioia has extensive experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on production and management roles. Melissa is currently the Senior Manager of Game Production at The Pokémon Company International, where they have been since 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager of Production/Senior Producer at the same company.

Before joining The Pokémon Company International, Melissa worked at Microsoft as a Program Manager III from 2017 to 2018 and at Jam City as a Senior Producer from 2016 to 2017. Their previous experience includes being a Senior Producer at DoubleDown Interactive/International Game Technology (IGT) from 2014 to 2016, a Content Producer at Disney Interactive from 2011 to 2014, and a Senior Game Producer at Big Fish Games from 2006 to 2011.

Melissa started their career as a Deployment Manager/Producer at Mobliss, Inc. in 2005, an Associate Producer at Atari, Inc./Humongous Entertainment in 2004, a Marketing Coordinator at Safeco Investment Services from 2002 to 2004, and an Associate Producer at JPL Productions from 2000 to 2001. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and ship successful games.

Melissa DiGioia completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications at Penn State University from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they also hold two additional certifications. In June 2019, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, they obtained the ACCEL Sport Coaching Certificate from the University of Washington Center for Leadership in Athletics in October 2022.
