Pelin Tünaydın

Pelin Tünaydın, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Localization Editing (Turkish) and previously held the position of Localization Editor II at The Pokémon Company International since March 2022. Prior to this role, Pelin was a Predoctoral Teaching & Research Associate at the University of Washington from September 2016 to March 2022. Pelin's editing experience includes a role at Pusula Publishing Ltd. from February 2004 to November 2009, where responsibilities included editing for Kanat Books and Virgül Monthly Book Review. Pelin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Washington, obtained in March 2023, a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies with an emphasis in Cultural Anthropology from Sabanci University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
