Aurimas Baubkus

Aurimas Baubkus is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Tech Lead at PokerNews since June 2022, Aurimas co-founded NebijokIT in May 2014, where responsibilities include web development and overall company growth. From June 2018 to June 2022, Aurimas held the position of Head of Engineering at oddschecker Global Media, overseeing teams and pioneering the migration of CasinoSmash to a microservices architecture. Prior roles include Senior Developer at iBus Media and experience as CTO at SAU.lt, where responsibilities included team workflow and budget management. Aurimas began a freelance career in web development in 2009, employing technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and various JavaScript frameworks, and has consistently utilized Agile methodologies throughout a career that began in 2007. Aurimas studied Software Engineering at Vilnius University from 2006 to 2008.
